The short version
The campaign never sells your information. You only give what you choose to type into a form. Advertising tools from Meta run on this site and receive some of it, which is described below. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing elect@jcforjp.org.
Who is asking
This site belongs to the campaign to elect JC Naquin as Justice of the Peace for Ward Five, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. Questions about anything here go to elect@jcforjp.org.
What you give us
Nothing, unless you fill in a form. There are two.
The Ward Five survey collects your answers to the questions, your ZIP code, and anything you write in the open box. First name, email, and phone are optional. Nothing but ZIP is required.
The yard sign request collects your name, delivery address, and a phone number or email so JC can arrange a time, plus any notes you add.
Both forms record which advertisement brought you, if you arrived from one, so the campaign can tell which ads are worth the money.
Who else receives it
Web3Forms delivers and stores form submissions. They are the form service behind both forms.
Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram, receives information through advertising tools that run on every page. That includes your IP address, the page you are on, and an identifier stored in your browser. Because advanced matching is switched on, it also includes a scrambled copy of contact details you type into a form, which Meta uses to measure whether its advertising worked. This is standard for advertising on those platforms, and it is on deliberately.
Cloudflare hosts and serves the site.
Nobody else. The campaign does not sell, rent, or trade your information, and does not share it with other campaigns or committees.
Text messages
You only get texts if you check the box asking for them. That box is never checked for you, and checking it is not a condition of requesting a sign or answering the survey. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop them or HELP for help.
Email updates
Same arrangement. You only get campaign email if you check the box asking for it, and every message includes a way to stop.
What is stored in your browser
This site stores your light or dark mode preference so the page does not flash the wrong colors when you return. When you submit a form, it briefly notes whether you asked for texts so the confirmation page can say so, and clears that as soon as it is read.
Meta's advertising tools set their own identifiers. Your browser settings and any content blocker you use control those.
How long it is kept
Form submissions are retained by the form service for the length of its retention window, and the campaign keeps its own copy of responses and of any consent you gave to be contacted, so it can show what was agreed to and when. Records tied to text message consent are kept longer than the rest, because the law that governs them allows claims for several years.
Asking to be removed
Email elect@jcforjp.org and say what you want removed. You do not have to explain why. Reply STOP to any text to end texts immediately, which works whether or not you email.
Children
This site is meant for voters. It is not directed at children and the campaign does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this changes
The date at the top changes with it. The campaign runs through November 3, 2026, and this page describes the site as it stands on that date.
